| T.E.S. TACK UP POLICY |
| |
Traditional Equitation School teaches total horsemanship. As part of that goal, we require our students to groom and tack the horse they will ride in their lesson. We offer Horsemanship Classes every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. and every Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 p.m., which teaches our students how to properly complete this important task. Parents are encouraged to take the Horsemanship Class with their children, since their children will probably need assistance.
If an individual cannot tack his or her horse for reasons such as: severe allergies to hay and dust, caring for small children or an infant, or just running late, we can, of course, have one of our staff tack the horse for you. There is a $10.00 fee for this service. It is customary to give the $10.00 directly to the individual who tacked for you.
If you need to have your horse tacked, please arrive one-half hour before your scheduled lesson or call as soon as you know you will be late, since it takes the working students some time to groom and tack the horse properly, especially if they have several requests for this special service.

| SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT CHILDREN: T.E.S. takes pride in teaching our young riders; however, it is not safe to drop off your children or leave them unattended in and around the barn areas. Please supervise your children at all times, especially when they are tacking or untacking their lesson horses. |
|
| Feel free to talk to your instructor or the T.E.S. office staff if you have any questions regarding this matter.
