Riding lessons . . . are the foundation of our educational programs at T.E.S. We offer classes in dressage, hunt seat/jumping, and western styles. Lessons are offered in the following formats for both children and adults:
- Groups -- (50 minutes).
- Semi-privates -- (45 minutes).
- Privates -- one student (30 minutes or 50 minutes).
Group lessons meet at the same time each week (see Group Lessons) and are arranged according to skill levels (see Class Levels). All other lesson formats must be scheduled as appointments and are subject to instructor availability. *Note: All lessons expire 60 days from date of purchase. Prices are subject to change. Please contact our office for the most current prices and schedules.
The Horsemanship Class . . . is required for all T.E.S. students, regardless of their previous experience. We believe that all students should know--and practice--standard safety rules for working around horses, which includes how to approach and halter a horse in the stall as well as how to lead, groom, saddle and bridle a horse. The class is offered Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m.
Our Special Programs . . . provide opportunities for our students to participate in educational or social clubs, specialized training programs and riding camps. |

School Horse Half-Lease Program . . . is a great way to experience the pleasures and responsibilities of having a horse without the expense of buying and boarding one. Students have the use of the horse 6 days a week, Tuesday through Sunday. Students receive a 30 minute private and 2 group lessons per week; the other days may be used for practice rides. See our Half Lease Guidelines for more information.
Our Sales Program . . . is designed to provide professional advise to students who are interested in buying a horse. Many of our school horses are for sale or we can scout for the right horse to fit riding goals and budgets. Buying a horse is a serious investment --let our trainers help you make an informed decision.
Special Services . . . are provided for clients who board their own horses at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. Services include grooming, clipping, bathing, blanketing, tack cleaning, turnout, lunging and schooling.
