Employment Opportunities. . . are often available for full-time and part-time riding instructors in the following disciplines: Hunt Seat, Dressage, Combined Training and Western. We prefer instructors who can teach more than one discipline, who are comfortable working with both children and adults, and who can meet the needs of students with a wide variety of riding goals, from recreation/trail riding to competition and horse ownership.

Qualified instructors should have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, some competition experience, and a sound knowledge of stable management and horse care. Instructors who have completed college equestrian degrees or certification programs (such as those offered by the British Horse Society, the U.S. Dressage Federation, the American Riding Instructors Association, etc.) are especially urged to apply. We realize that candidates can be talented instructors without certified training, so please apply if you meet our experience qualifications. We are looking for instructors who are serious about pursing a career in the horse industry as an instructor or trainer.

T.E.S. is a large riding school with students of varying abilities and riding goals. All of our instructors must be enthusiastic team players, safety-oriented, and professional, with a flexible attitude and willingness to help students, staff and other instructors.

Instructor benefits include flexible working hours, pay negotiable with experience, great location at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, discounts at LAEC events, riding lessons, BHS certification, and the opportunity to help our students reach their riding goals in a fun, educational atmosphere.
